If it has $850 of back fees, it's probably been sitting for several years. My understanding is that after 5 years, it drops off DMV records and resets to zero, so you can wait it out as well. I'm doing this on a Ford F-600 4x4 that had $4500 of back fees due to a DMV mistake. Good Luck! Rob
