I have noticed a problem with the intermediate driveshaft (the one between the transmission and transfer case) hitting a sheet metal cross member that is a part of the cab floor. This would probably be due to settling of the cab, as well. It is pretty audible. You can look for wear or strike marks on the shaft and the cab "cross-member."
