Make sure all four plugs are good. Even though new they could be bad. I had a willys MB with fresh rebuild and two almost new plugs were bad. The symptom exhibited is what you described.Pull them one at a time and check for a good hot spark when cranking. Also be sure on the firing order. It is odd, like 1-2-4-3 or something like that.
