The "Bulldog" build, my M37

Just after Christmas, I started to disassemble the M37. The former owner must have BURIED it in mud where it died, as I am having to chip thick mud off of all the frame members. But, there is very little rust except in places like the windshield frame.
I have the cab, engine and bed off now. Next is the TC and the running board hangers, etc.
I am switching to a centered rear. I noticed that the angle back from the transfer case is a little steep to the original rear diff, and will be steeper yet to the centered rear with the central TC output being a little higher up than the other rear output. Is this a problem potentially?
