If you switch to a CV joint at the t case you have to either shim or cut of the spring perches to angle the axle. With a CV you need the rear u joint pretty close to straight probably just a couple degrees down from straight to account for axle wrap under load. Be careful with shimming or angling the transfer case with a conventional driveshaft that the output of the transfer case and the input of the rear axle are parallel.
