why is the new engine a joke? i dont know too much about the diesel differences over the years but have talked with 2 commerical car haulers both with Dodge 3500 crecab diesels one is an 07 and one is an 08 they run 2 and 3 car haulers commercially. both had over 200K when I talked with them and one was actually at about 290K. one guy had to replace his exhaust manifold. other than that nothing but maintenance. doesnt sound like a joke to me. they had zero complaints about any aspect of the trucks.
