After sitting for a month without being started, enduring temps to -32, 2.5' of snow and winds to 70 mph, my 61 WM300 started today. Some of you probably read about my heater problems. I certainly would have liked to have driven it particularly in our last snow storm, but having the defroster conk out at -20 would not be a good trip to work.
Tomorrow, a buddy and I will put in the new heater motor and the one hopefully the one I got from VPW has the right sized shaft. They said there are two different sized shafts, but they only have this one. I said send it. Sure will be nice to have heat and a defroster during this record breaking cold and snowfall year.
