in the 70's we would get ff parts(ring and pinions etc.) from the Dodge dealer but they were high and after about 78 were no longer serviced

John and I would first go to Houston Truck and Equipment who sold army surplus, lots of new parts, but John would alway check the date of manufacturer on the new parts cuz he wanted post 60
