Right, many novices will use a DA for sanding the bondo and it amplifies the wavy look. I made a long putty screed out of an old hand saw. Cut the blade in half with a cut off wheel lenghtways remove the handle and you can bow it as you level the mud, perfect for a cab top. Then you have allot less sanding. Use the hand held long board when the mud is still soft with in half an hour of applying and it will sand real easy.
