It was maybe 105 degrees this day. Pulled about 1000' elevation gain in 5 miles headed up I-80E towards donner summit. It got hot, but not enough for me to pull over. On a heavier load of rocks, I had to actually pull over on a 20 mile climb up the steepest part of Donner Pass.
