I had my first red ryder when I was 7 years old. I was required to wear safety glasses when shooting and only to shoot at BB appropriate targets (boxes tin and aluminium cans). Red Ryder taught me how to sight ip with both eyes open and 23 years later i am on my fourth one! They wear out after 10000 rounds. Low velocity lots better than a pump bb gun.
