I am enjoying your back and forth on this subject. Both engine mounts on the frame crossmember are held in place by 3 Rivets. If I remove the top Rivet from each mount which is on the crossmember, drill an access hole in the bottom of the reinforcement plate of the crossmember and mount the "Floating Power" and engine to the bottom of the crossmember using bolts, nuts and washers, It will give me the 2" I need as clearance for the longer Block.
