The only thing that I can add to that Tom is the front wood blocks in both my trucks had the same 1/4" rubber nailed to the bottom side of the wood block...so actually all 4 corners used the thin 2"x 2"x 1/4" rubber pad.
It's possible that was only a WDX thing however?
