someon makes tapered bits just for tie rod end holes, cant remember who thogh sorry. you weld it up then re drill. lot sless hassle than replacement. Also I would replace the whole axle asembly because I think the spindle surfaces and everything are ground for camber and trueness on each axle and you might have some variation. at a minimum the upper and lower knuckle have are matched and must be replaced together
