tore up a 3.9 rear end in a '70 model in Colorado. Only parts I could find were 3.23
drove it to Florida and gas mileage by the odometer remained the same--didn't bother to change speedometer drive gear.
actually got the gas mileage increase of the changed gears. doubt that would apply one for one
worth two cents?
