Thanks for the info. I don't believe I have that problem though. I believe I have the proper linkage on mine. Connects to the carb at the throttle linkage, right? A good idea would be to adjust this periodically so that the transmission downshifts properly. Also, next time you change you transmission fluid and filter, adjust the reverse band too.
