This reminds me of a story an "old timer" told me about shimming the engine in his model "T" . He told me " If she started to knock you pulled the pan off , found the rod and cut a chunck of leather off your belt , placed it the rod and put it all back together !! . This old timer was my grandad Sterrett who passed away in 77'
