Cowl Drain Tube

The rainy season has arrived in Alaska and my 61 FFPW is leaking. I see today that I don't have cowl weatherstripping and I will order that from VPW tomorrow.

Also see that the cowl/ventilator drain tube drains well like it should behind the dash but drains onto the floor boards. If it's supposed to be like that I will extend it and run it through the floor boards.

I searched the site for an answer to this but didn't find anything so any advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
