What's up with car batteries these days. I put a new Napa commercial battery in my PW a couple of years ago when I was doing my rebuild and now it won't even hold a charge. There isn't any drain when the truck is off so I'm perplexed about why it is junk already. The truck sits most of the time. A few weeks ago I fully charged it and today it's almost dead again. I havn't had much luck with batteries in the past few years, seems they are being poorly made. Some batteries never die, I've had the same battery in my other pick-up for ever it seems, and it always starts the truck even in the coldest weather. Is this a trend to get poor service out of a battery nowadays?
