Might make the rear axle tube 1/4" wider? I doubt it would hurt the axle shaft penetration into the gears.
But isn't there an alignment step in the front knuckle to hold the spindle? It would be lacking on the rear, entire weight of the load would be on the five bolts? And rear load could be triple the front load.
