Tim, you had it right the first time, the virus will use an email account from ANY email list if that in-box account is not protected, in the mailbox, it was stolen from, that puts anyones address at use.
Heck, I even get SPAM from "Myself" as well as the Plym49, pretty hard to stop sometimes without blocking legitimate email addresses.
