Clint. I am aware that from time to time PO's will adapt parts for their needs. The carb installed at the time I purchased this truck exhibits the design characteristics of an E7S1. It does NOT have that orifice. As a matter of fact there is an adaptor (?) on the intake manifold and the unit was installed and working without the governor installed. I have noticed that the top of carb does not quite fit the bottom. I have an ET4 with a top, with that orifice, that appears to fit precisely. Should I attempt to swap tops? I will try to send pics.
