$378 for Gas Tank Reneu - Was it worth it?

I took the gas tank out of my WM300 to have cleaned. The place said they tried to clean it by cutting holes in each end and blasting with beebees, but felt they needed to cut the top off to do it right. After blasting they welded it back together and coated the inside with Gas Tank Renu and something like lizard skin on the outside. The cost was $378, but comes with a life time warranty, as long as I own the truck. Do you think it was worth it?
