need rusty body advice

hey yall, I'm looking for opinions. The '48 is finally runnin' and rollin', but it is rusty as all getout, mostly surface stuff. I can't afford the body/paint yet, but want to keep it from getting worse. Should I use a rust-neutralizer, or prime it, or spray-can it for now? Or would I be better off to wait and get it blasted and sealed when I can? Thanks!!
