When changing carbs on these trucks between car and different truck carbs you sometimes have to make your own linkage for things to work. There was an adaptor flange CC#1069119 made by Dodge that will reposition the mounting of a carb by 90 degrees. In other words, instead of the carb mounting across the intake manifold, it mounts parellel with the manifold. This allows the different carbs to be used. Does yours have it? Can you mount the carb with the lever to the fender side an reroute your fuel line?
