10 mpg isn't that bad. I have a 78 W150, 318, 4 speed manual, 4:11 posi rears, 33" tires, and I only get about 8 around town. We've tried to make the mileage better; replaced the intake and carb, new exhaust, tune up, etc.. but nothing has helped significantly. The bad gas mileage is worth it for what the truck can do!
