Jim I agree with you 100% having done some hauling myself on several occasions. I don't do it as a business like yourself but it still costs X amount of Dollars to get from point A to point B. I was recently asked what I would charge to haul. I said I would have to take into consideration the cost of fuel and expenses on the road. You can't run down the road empty at anytime without losing money. I have always tried to haul both ways to make expenses and for wear and tear on my equipment. I hope you can continue to haul and make ends meet.
