Thought everybody knows not to bid until the last few minutes. More early bids just drive the price up.
When I'm selling something, I keep thinking about something like "free shipping if the winner is the one of the first three bidders" just to get the bidding started early. When I'm selling, my motto is "Bid early, and bid often".
When I'm buying, I wait as long as my fluttering litle heart will allow.
