I got an email once from an ebay person before they made everything private in the auctions. Person said the guy who was running the auction had 10 of his friends with ebay accounts bidding up the auction to JUST under the reserve..trying to create the appearance of value and a percieved excitement level about the item that didnt exist....for all you know, that 60k truck could have a friend or 2 that know the reserve is 62,500..so they will bid up to that number..trying to reel in a fish....just a thought. hope your well
