When I bought the truck, I never had a fuel tank at all.
I chose this plastic tank. It allows me to run a fill hose to the rear of the fender, the fill and vent are on the correct side, and It has a fuel sender and swivel pickup tube.
It cost $180 orderd from Amazon, and I had it the next day.
Won't corrode ever.
I made some simple straps out of 12 gauge x 1-1/2" galvanized strip from Home Depot. Needs some more work to mount it better, but you get the idea.
