Maybe you already know this, but once once you set everything up with the stock number of shims, blocks and fasteners, check how the hood fits down. In my case I had significant settling/compression of the rubber blocks (later truck) and this caused interference with the fenders when I opened the hood at the corners. Maybe you won't have this problem with wood up front, but I had to shim mine "more" than the manual says in order for proper fit.
