Check voltage at bat posts and at starter post while cranking. Should not be more than a volt or so drop between the two locations. If more, check voltage across each connection, or just crank a while and feel if any is hot. Easiest thing first is to rule out bad connections, which are pretty easy to find if you measure across each one while cranking.
