Morning All,
I have the PS column from a 1957 D100 truck and the design is the same. Horn button wire goes down the center of the shaft and pops out above the brass ring and is solder to the ring edge. Their is a Delco Remy contact with a threaded stud post that goes into the hole on the column cover and makes the contact on the brass ring. I can snap a picture of it, but lack a way to post it.
