50,000 miles is what I was always told by the oldtimers that were still driving the trucks when I got started back in the early 80's. Dad always traded off cars before the reached 50,000 miles so I think that is a reasonable number for highway miles (and we all know these trucks saw a lot of use that does not count as highway miles).
