The ones I used were from Oregon Connectors. They are crimp type with NO solder. You need a special tool that doesn't penetrate the heat shrink sleeve when crimped. You can also buy bare crimp style connectors and buy the heat shrink tubes in different sizes and do your own.
Google search "heat shrink connectors" and you will find lots of sources. But I'm sure there are lots of stores in sunny Calif. that will sell them.
