I used some from surplus last time, need more for the current project. They were initially crimped, then heated. A low melt solder fused them electrically while the heat shrink collar sealed them from fluids. I did have a couple failures when I crimped the solder ring instead of the connector. Then as the solder melted it ran up the wire, leaving no connection to the lug. Different terminals had the solder ring in different places...
