I have been studying things on the home farm here and not being a wise guy but.The outdoor wood furnace burns wood at 180 degrees plus or minus 5.At a steam show they had a Stirling steam engine they run or temperature differential or something like that.If we here are burning 8 or 9 months of the year is this a practical alternative to generate some power from steam.I know the wood furnace is 30 degrees below steam and if you had a steam engine and dumped the exhaust back in the wood furnace and picked it up again for the steam engine pre heated ??.On the books record shows 14 cords on average go in the wood furnace the electric bill here is pushing 3oo per month see where I am headed junior copey
