I remember buying gas in the .29 to mid .30 cents a gallon. I still remember signs for gas at 19.9 cents a gallon when riding with my family before I cold drive. In addition to the service you mention, while in college, the local Conaco station also vacuumed the floor and gave you a salute when you left. Now days, you dont even get a smile or thank you when you pay.......them........
