The bent rear driveshaft is a common problem on surplus 880's as they are often moved around by careless forlift operators. I had the same problem when I bought my first 880. Try finding a replacement driveshaft as they are common. For the best source of extensive and reasonable 880 parts call Mark at Saturn Surplus in PA.
