The WW II 6X6 Dodges, WC-62 and WC-63, used the NP-200 transfer case and drove the rear/rear tandem axle straight through off the back of the parking brake drum, so the NP 200 transfer case can be used to drive a centered rear axle straight through from the transmission if that is one's desire. The 6X6 front/rear tandem axle was driven off the lower transfer case shaft (as is the front axle) on the WDX-WM300 Power Wagons with the offset rear axle. You will need a rear yoke from a 6X6 t/c that bolts onto the parking brake drum for straight through drive, which in 2WD high with a center rear axle from a WC 3/4 ton Dodge should run cooler than the offset drive/tc/rear axle in the standard PW. Heat kills, stay cool!
