No tail lights or parking lights om M880 (W200)

I drove home last night with only head lights and brake lights. The tail lights, license plate light and front lights don't work. The fuse is good, I took out the head light switch and it seems ok, I tested with a continuity tester and it seems to work, It has 3 circuits in it. 1 for haed lights, 1 for dash lights and 1 for the tail and parking lights. It seems ok. The molded plug was melted at one point, some else changed a few wire termals on it. what am I missing??
