Not really no power

Something isn't a 100%.Pops power wagon started right up in the minus 20 cold I warmed up and headed to town to pick up a new log splitter.The truck could not pull in fourth gear it would bog down,if you backed into third the truck would pull and seam to reach the right rpm.Then when you shifted into fourth you could not accelerate.On a flat stretch you could get fourth but it would only hold the speed you shifted at.On any slight grade you lost speed quickly.I had to detour two hills and go in third gear.The points condenser wires plugs cap rotor are recent last fall fuel is ten percent methanol so i don't think water. Any ideas would be of help. junior copey
