Who is familiar with anvils?

Looked at a Soderfors, Swedish-made anvil that a retired gentleman is thinking of selling. It is a bit beat up from being used to cold work steel by the current owner but does not look too bad. I picked it up and guess it weighs between 125 and 150 pounds. He also has a few hammers and four hardies. I am not a blacksmith or farrier, but think it would be handy to have an anvil around for those occasional projects around the shop. Hopefully the picture will come through. Any suggestion as to what I should offer him?
