Neither makes smog nor makes mammals ill. It's used here is California for every thing- lacquers, carb cleaners, tank additives, etc.

You body makes it all by it self.

Downside is that it is a 'carrier'. Washing in it can 'carry' other stuff through your skin. With polyester resins, like bondo, it can bring the by-product ___(?)__ into your bloodstream. (Not good stuff, can't bring the name to the top of my cess pool of a brain. Styrene?)
