Driving around RI you can still see the occassional one being used as garages or even a house. The originals are actually pretty limited on space onside. The SeaBee musuem here at Quonset Point RI ( where they were designed) has a great display of the evolution of the Quonset Hut. Its actually pretty interesting to see how they evolved. Theres actually a special design that was used in the Pacific during WWII.
