Sorry about not being more specific. My '72 W200 is a former military ambulance with a vacuum boosted, dual circuit, master cylinder. I picked up a rebuilt MC from NAPA yesterday which looked identical externally, but did not sit down into the booster properly. After some gentle playing around, was able to get things lined up a little better, but the pushrod seemed to be about 1/2-3/4 inch too long. Took the MC back off to see if the pushrod could be shortened up, but now cannot seem to pull the end of it out of the bore of the MC. The counter guy at NAPA said there was only one part number for my application, whether the truck had power or manual brakes and I figure the wisdom of the board here is my best hope of solving this issue.
