I noticed the problem a few years back when i was driving my 40K original mile flatbed all winter out in Mason county and making weekly trips into Seattle. the were spraying something on all hte highways and the flatbed started rusting quite a bit. the new owner fotunately rarely drives it and parks it under cover. I will not be driving my latest D300 much this winter that is for sure.
