marine paint sucks. if you dont use imron, which is a truck fleet paint, you will likely get awlgrip, which is non repairable and too shiny for a truck's exterior. go with a good acrylic enamel or urethane. clear / base is too advanced for the home user. find a local paint distributor and chat them up. they will instruct you on the best product for your level of skill and prep.
