6BTA Cummins

I have a 1992 Dodge truck 4x4 with Cummins. The truck runs extremely well (even with 250000 miles). The problem is that the truck is wore out.(Doors don't close, gages don't work,dings,etc,etc, ....) I have been thinking about doing a drive train swap in to something a little more user friendly than my FFWP. What would be the best candidate for a 6BTA?? (I know Paul would throw it away and buy a 4BTA.) I would like something pre 1965, what would it fit in without having to butcher to make work? Is there room for it in a w100, w200, w300?? I don't want a w500. How about a CCKW??? Any ideas???? THANKS
