I installed a Reese fith wheel setup in my pickup that can also be used for towing a gooseneck.
The rails are bolted in, then the 5th wheel assy uses just 4 pins to attach it to the rails
I also have a plate with a gooseneck ball on it. Simply remove the pins and the 5th wheel assy, and using the same 4 pins, install the gooseneck plate/ball.
My travel trailer pulls better with the 5th wheel, but I use the gooseneck setup for pulling my car hauler trailer.
